What business do you do?

I am into Event planning, Real estate, Interior design & Decoration.

What made you start the business and how did you start?

I read Adult Education and majored in English. While doing my youth service, I attended an event seminar and as luck will have it I ran into a link which prompted me to start up my event business (Bele bety enterprise) asap because I was to be paid directly into my company account. I have serviced organizations like Eko Atlantic, LS & associates, franchise with daviva, including churches and seminars. As time went on, I obtained a certificate in Interior design & 3d design, Techno-entrepreneurship development training (FIIRO), PGD in Project and Facility management, Associate in Chartered Project management professional (CPMP), of the Chartered Institute of contract project and facility management (ACICPFM), Certified Facility management professional (CFMP). I was into financials for a while and at some point, I was being owed so I decided to go study and focus on something that can show my creativity because I love to draw and design. That was why I settled for interior decoration. Now I run my event business and interior design, make throw pillows and bean bags which is now trending in society as a whole.

What are the challenges/problems you have faced in your business?

For starters, it is very tough because everyone wants to see what you have previously done, cheques do not roll in easy, everyone will encourage but will grumpily patronise you, and some will talk you down. So you just have to keep showing them by all means and never underestimate your limit(easier said) but with determination and focus you will definitely fit in with time.

How have you solved these problems?

Trust God’s time, ignore negativity, consciously stay positive and direct my focus on why I started – which is making a difference

What are your hobbies?

I really love to dance, exercise and network
